Wow, 1 week gone by just like that. Well, overall I would say that first week was pretty slack, at least compared to the 2 other companies beside us. Oh, right, I haven't told you which company I got posted to. I got posted to Quebec. It's a nice place, I got great bunk mates. So I'm pretty happy over there.

I can't disclose anything about my training here (it's confidential, you see), but I assure you everything is good. But I really dislike my platoon sgt, he's a real b@#$%^& who doesn't gives a damn even when someone is obviously in great pain.

Oh, and if you're wondering why am I out of camp today, it's because of the Hari Raya holidays, which happened to fall on a weekend. So my confinement week will start next week.

Alright, I got to go pack my stuff and get ready to book in again tonight.

Whoa, long time since I even typed in blogger. 2 very nice souls "reminded" me to post something up before I die for my country... just kidding, before I serve the country.

Well, all I wish now is to survive the first 2 weeks. And of course I wish to do my best in NS, to be the very best of my capability. Like what Andy said, to do what we can, but don't put on a strong front in order to achieve higher leadership positions.

I really hope in these 2 years I will grow as a person and I also hope that God will give me a chance to influence those around me for His seek. Well, no matter what position or what job I'm assigned to take on, I hope I can complete it joyful without complaining, because I always believe that God will never give us anything that we cannot handle!

Alright, serious stuff aside, I also hope there will be interest things happening in camp, so that I can bring back stories to tell and memories to keep!

I saw Shy's post on a Taiwanese drama, so I decided to post on a drama series I have been following.

Q.E.D. Shoumei Shuuryou (Q.E.D. 証明終了). That's the title of the drama series, and, it's an adaptation from a manga. By the way, Q.E.D. stands for quod erat demonstrandum, which is a latin phrase for "the proof is complete".

What I like about this drama, you say? Well, firstly, it's a detective drama (my fave <3). There's a variety of crimes ranging from murder to fraud. Oooo, how I love the suspense. Secondly, Takahashi Ai from Morning Musume is acting in it! Haha...

Anyway, before I forget, Blessed Lunar New Year!

Guess it's a little late to update on Christmas, but nevertheless, we had a huge Christmas production. I am, of course, in it, as Samurai Wise man. I <3 my kodaichi.



Overall, Christmas was a blast!!!

In between Christmas and New Year, I had a little gathering with Winston and Odelia at T3. Goodness knows why were we there. Oh, by the way, Popeyes' were really tasty. I give it 5 stars. =D

Ah, now comes to New Year. Before going forth to 2009, let's step back to 2008 for a moment. The two most significant events in 2008 for me was taking up the role as a youth leader intern, and BOL church camp '08.

Although I've been an intern for almost a year now, but I still feel that I have not done much. So I hope in the coming year, I will be able to contribute more and be a more reliable intern to the youths.

During church camp, God has already set the path for me to follow. I think I'm still at the preparatory stage. So I hope I'll be able to speed up and start walking!

Now, where was I? Oh yes, New Year. This year's Crossover service was a really memorable one. I did interpretation for the first time ever! Was having linner with my buds when suddenly, Pastor Kris called. "I'm going to give a 3 minutes testimony later, can you interpret for me?" I almost fainted on the spot. Fast forward to the service, to the moment, I was so nervous that I didn't know what I was saying. What makes interpreting so difficult is that unlike speeches or presentations, where you know what you are going to say, you have no idea what the person is going to say, and you have to listen to the person's sentence(s), digest it, translate it in your head, and say it out, all within 5 seconds. There were a few times I was lost, but thank God for Pastor Kris' graciousness and patience, she even kindly wait for me to finish before going on to her next sentence. I've seen speakers who totally ignored their interpreters when their speech is going onto the climax. The interpreter literally have to fight to interpret. If I were the one interpreting for them, I guess that would had been my first and last chance to do so. I hope if there's a chance again, I'll be better prepared.

So those were the most memorable moments of 2008 I can think of now. Oh, and not forgetting to mention, my Japan trip back in February! I'm definitely going back there again!

Hello all! I'm back from Uth camp. Actually I was back since Wednesday.

Anyway, camp was really great! Especially my group, Royal Flush! This is the first time I'm working with Huimin for Uth camp (I think). Andre's in my group too, so he's kinda like the creative director of my team.

My team were the "miracle" group of this camp. 3 times we were supposed to be slaves, 3 times we managed to escape. We even become the co-champions! Shocking.

Another highlight of the camp is our mass dance! And my dance partner is ... ... ... Shy!



We almost won the best dressed award, but the judges felt that my group won too many awards already, so they gave it to Iwan and Pj (-.-; )

And Shy wasn't even in my group (-.-; )

Alright, now coming up next: Christmas Celebration. I'll be involved in it =D

There's still so many things to do and settle... Faster let my things finish! So that I can truly relax!

Why? Why?! WHY?! Why must you increase price?! Why you from $7.60 rise to $9.20 within a few months? Why, my Gatsby Moving Rubber Hair Wax? Now I have to fork out extra $2 for you T-T
